Internet Fridays

I had a good laugh last Friday.

According to my WordPress statistics I get the most views on Wednesdays and on Fridays. People have too many things to catch up on Mondays and Tuesdays and on the weekend nobody cares enough to browse. At least not in the summer.

My morning conversation goes like this:

- Do you have anything ready to post this week?

- No.

- Well, you should, today it’s Friday.

- So?

- Didn’t you know that everybody’s on the Internet on Fridays? Nobody works on Fridays.

Really?? Hmm….that sounds funny…..

I think about it…That pleasant feeling of holiday I have while heading to work every Friday morning. Everything seems different: the subway is empty at rush hour, people walk slower, and even if I carry my mp3 player in my bag every morning, it’s on Fridays only that I’m listening that Brazilian lounge imagining I’m walking on Ipanema Beach, in Rio de Janeiro.

I conclude it is true – nobody works on Fridays. All testers are on the Internet. I should go on and write my blog entry.
